Annunciation Catechesis

‘Annunciation catechesis’ follows
the account of the Annunciation (Lk 2:1-38)
as a paradigm for announcing Jesus Christ, Son of God and
son of Mary, as the Saviour and Lord of the world, who draws us
by the Holy Spirit in the Church towards our heavenly Father’s home.

‘Annunciation catechesis’ was developed from an in-depth study of the Church’s catechetical documents, especially the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the General Directory for Catechesis (1997). From these sources, an ‘annunciation pedagogy’ has been developed as a guide for ensuring a catechesis that by grace holds a ‘double fidelity, to God and to man.’ (GDC 147).

The resources and courses found on this website are either
formed in this pedagogy or are in accord with it.

May God bless you in all your endeavours with his unending grace.
