Catholic Faith and Reason

Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth—in a word, to know himself—so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves (cf. Ex 33:18; Ps 27:8-9; 63:2-3; Jn 14:8; 1 Jn 3:2).
From Pope St John Paul II’s encyclical Fides et Ratio (1998), ‘Faith and Reason’

Our online courses & resources are to inspire you in your knowledge, conviction and expression of the Catholic faith.

The Annunciation (Lk 2:1-38) of the angel, Gabriel, to the Blessed Virgin Mary is a paradigm for announcing Jesus Christ, Son of God and son of Mary, as the Saviour and Lord of the world, who draws us by the Holy Spirit in the Church towards our heavenly Father’s home.

Our ‘Annunciation catechesis’ ensures a formation that holds a ‘double fidelity, to God and to man’ (GDC 147), to Christ and his Church, to Scripture and Tradition.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you in all your endeavours with his unending grace.
